To Place Equipment

The Equipment Manager enables you to set up and place equipment objects. Due to its modular design, you can create multiple variations of an equipment object based on a single equipment definition (. XML file).

Select Equipment Manager from the Equipment & Cable ribbon.
In the Equipment Data section, select an equipment component from the drop down list.
In the Properties section, define the property values for the Object Levels.
Press OK. The Equipment Placement dialog will display.
Define the Equipment ID.
Define the Angle for the component.
Select the Cursor Position to change the insertion point for the Equipment symbol if needed.
Enter the coordinates for the insertion point, or pick a point in the drawing and place the Equipment symbol with a single data point.
Right-click to end the symbol insertion or a different symbol can be selected using the Equipment Manager.
